Summary of essential job functions:

• Responsible for managing large, dynamic GIS datasets in ArcMap to drive accurate, streamlined project implementation
• Translates data into a variety of high-quality, user-driven map products, including client-facing reports and maps to guide field staff
• Performs data reconciliation, spatial analysis, and geoprocessing of large datasets; reviews and processes field data for accuracy, quality and completeness
• Creates timely reports for clients and ensures all deadlines are met
• Manages multiple priorities while maintaining effective lines of communication with project staff to monitor schedules, resolve issues, and identify risks to keep projects on track
• Contributes to the development and maintenance of Tanko Lighting’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) initiatives, including contributing to the deployment of customer web mapping needs
• Provides administrative support for reporting requirements, proposal and presentation development, and preparation of deliverables
• Other duties as requested

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business
Management, Environmental/Sustainability management or other relevant field
• 1-2 years of experience using Esri ArcGIS Desktop 10.X required
• Specific ArcGIS skills should include:
• Converting various data file types to ArcGIS compatible files
• Using ArcMap Geoprocessing Tools and Spatial Analysis
• Experience with field-collected data a plus
• Experience using ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS for Server a plus, but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrated experience managing large datasets in Excel The ideal candidate will have:
